Many times folks will ask us to take a factory emblem design and modify it so it “fits” the car better, reflecting the customizations made to the car.
A great example of this is the emblems made for this cool Caddy. It was built by Noone Customs for ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons a few years back. The emblem keeps the basic shield shape of the factory Cadillac emblem. It is stretched long and low like the car, with custom lettering in place of the interior grid design.
The challenge on a project like this is to find that sweet spot blending the look of the original factory emblem and the flavor of the customized project vehicle. Check out the factory emblem and the renders for the project on our Facebook album; how do you think we did?
